- Shark Valley: This entrance and visitor center are located at 36000 SW 8th Street, on Highway 41, which is known as Tamiami Trail between Miami and Tampa. To get there, we suggest taking Interstate 595 and continuing without deviation to take I-75 N. Next, take US-27 S, continue, and take the right lane to merge onto FL-997 S; the final step is to turn right onto I-41 and continue until you reach the specified address. This route is the closest to Fort Lauderdale and Port Everglades.
- Gulf Coast: This visitor center is the farthest from Port Everglades; however, it also has the simplest access route to follow. First, take I-595 W and continue without deviation until taking I-75. Then, proceed to exit eighty to access FL-29 S. Finally, continue straight until you reach the address 815 Oyster Bar Ln, Everglades City, FL 34139.
- Ernest F. Coe: This entrance is located furthest south from Port Everglades, at 40001 State Hwy 9336, Homestead, FL 33034. The first step is to take Interstate 595, then turn left and take I-75 S. Next, veer right and take the Ronald Reagan Turnpike, staying on it until you reach Florida City. Finally, turn right and continue on Hwy 9336 until you reach your destination.
